Stacey's Story

​

People always say the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach. This is where Cody and my story starts. Cody tells me the first time we met was while I was working in the kitchen at the Limberlost. During Sunday brunch, I made him a Belgium waffle, his favorite :) The following year, when I was a junior and Cody was a senior, we bumped into each other at Homecoming while in line for pictures. We began talking and discussing the nights events. After that we would run into each other quite often. He had the same study hall and a locker near one of my friends. I began hanging out a lot with him along with my friend in study hall. We eventually decided to hang out at the upcoming TUT teen dance. This is where I made the first move. Cody went in for a hug and I surprised him with a kiss. After we became inseparable. We decided to go to college together at SVSU, where our bond grew stronger. After graduating college, I was accepted into PA school in Philadelphia. Without hesitation, Cody made the move to the east coast with me. As I was nearing the end of PA school, we celebrated our 9 year anniversary by taking a trip to Jim Thorpe. We went to an adorable B & B, where Cody made me the happiest woman in the world by asking me to marry him. I of course said yes!! Now 10 years later, we are finally getting married. We have grown a lot together over the last 10 years and I look forward to another 50 or more years with my best friend and love of my life.​



Cody's Story

I met Stacey my Senior year of Highschool. We got to know each other through study hall and dances becoming sweethearts short after. I stopped chasing girls and realized there wasn't the need anymore, I had found a girl worth holding onto. Nine years went by and I wanted to make her an honest woman. I pinched pennies and bought her the ring she deserved took her up to the Pocono Mountains and in my best attempt between stutters and nervousness, asked her the question. Luckily she said yes! Ten years have gone by since those early days and the time has flew.We've grown a lot together over the years and I can't wait to see what the next chapter of our life together will be.
